Deluxe Room
Deluxe rooms are spread over the ground, first and second floors, with two in the New House, a modern interpretation of the Arts and Crafts style and which is next to the Great Hall wing of the hotel. Larger than double rooms, they vary in shape and outlook, and are individually styled in muted shades with occasional bold shots of colour and luxurious touches of silk and velvet. Beds are either large doubles or six-foot Super Kings; the latter can be divided into twin beds. All have crisp white Egyptian cotton piqué bed linen and colourful throws. Bathrooms have under floor heating, a selection of Arran Aromatics toiletries, and are a mix of bath with separate walk-in shower and bath with shower overhead. One room is walk-in shower only. Two sets of rooms - Rooms 1 and 2, and Rooms 3 and 4 - each share a private lobby and are ideal for families. All deluxe rooms have space for an extra bed for a child.
Rooms include a flat-screen LCD television, cd/dvd player (with a large cd and dvd library available free at reception), digital radio, desk space, free broadband access, safe, and iron and ironing board. We also provide fresh fruit, a plentiful choice of tea and coffee, fresh milk, a well-stocked mini-bar, a selection of quality magazines, and full-length bathrobes and slippers.
