Once a month, on a Friday evening at Jesmond Dene House, Newcastle we turn the Great Hall into a little jazz club. Wind down from the week and tee up for the weekend over a relaxed and tasty three-course supper. Dine at your own table but mix with other guests and make new friends. Listen to the music and dance if you wish. Then relax into the weekend with an overnight stay in one of our gorgeous rooms followed by a leisurely Champagne breakfast.
The evening kicks off at 7.00pm with live music from 8.00pm until 11.00pm. Dress as casually as you like.

The Paul James Band present a sophisticated blend of Latin, Soul, Jazz and Popular Ballads. A new programme with their lead vocalist Laura Adams performing a selection of timeless classics from Etta James to Adele.
Friday 19th July - Rat Pack and Swing Night.
The Paul James Band featuring Pete Brown on vocals perform a sophisticated, stylish and cool set of timeless classics; as popular today as ever. Featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Marting and Bobby Darin, as well as modern day crooners such as Jamie Cullum and Michael Bublé.
Friday 30th August - The Great American Songbook
Back by popular demand The Paul James Band featuring their highly acclaimed vocalist Laura Adams performing some of the very best from the Great American Songbook with a selection of Jazz and Swing favouites made famous by artistes such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé.
Friday 27th September - Latin Jazz
An evening of Latin Jazz from The Paul James Band featuring guest percussionists Carlos 'El Tipo' and Paco Rivera from The Geordie Latinos, the band will be performing the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Dave Valntin, Astrud Gilberto, Herbie Hancock, Ray Barretto and many more Latin Jazz Legends!
