As a wedding venue, Jesmond Dene House is not like other hotels. For a start, we don’t believe in wedding packages. We just have some rather special rooms and spaces, and some creative dining options so you can put together your own individual wedding day. We’re licensed to hold civil ceremonies so you can get married here and celebrate afterwards or you can just come here for your wedding reception.

You can be as intimate or as flamboyant as you like. The Apartment, for example, is a quiet, private place for a ceremony for up to 10 guests or you can invite 100 people and enjoy the richness of the wood-panelled, Great Hall. Together with our range of other private rooms, we can cope with any number in between. And there are colourful gardens for drinks and photographs, should you so choose.

We can arrange small supper parties or grand banquets, late wedding breakfasts or evening cocktails plus help you sort flowers, photographers, cakes, magicians… Your choice, your wedding day.
