The Great Hall
A double height room with magnificent oak panelling, vast fireplace, huge Gothic windows and minstrels’ gallery, the Great Hall can be used for larger weddings of up to 80 guests. After the civil ceremony, celebratory drinks can be taken in the adjacent Reception Rooms while the Great Hall is re-set for dining.
If the marriage ceremony takes place in a different venue from the hotel, the Great Hall can seat up to 100 guests for a formal meal.
For an evening wedding party with entertainment - whether the ceremony takes place in the hotel or elsewhere - the Hall can take up to 100 guests for drinks and dancing. To avoid non-wedding guests being disturbed, the surrounding 11 bedrooms must also be booked by the wedding client or their guests.
