Dates for 2008:
Thursday 15th May - Australian wine dinner with Yering Station of the Yarra Valley £75
The Yarra Valley, north of Melbourne, is one of Australia's coolest wine regions - by some measures it has a chillier climate than Champagne. This long slow ripening season makes it an ideal source of sparkling wines, and of Australia's most elegant expression of Burgandy grape varieties like Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Tonight we will show Yering Station's "Yarrabank" traditional method sparkling wine, their world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and the luscious late harvest Riesling.
