Our Food and Wine Festival has become a highlight of the year. During the week-long event, guest chefs and wine experts, from both Britain and abroad, come to Jesmond Dene House to share and showcase their skills. We’ve been lucky enough to lure some of the most talented, and original, people working in the industry, today. Past guests include Michael Caines and John Campbell, both two-Michelin-star chefs, Hairy Biker Simon King, Nigel Haworth of one-Michelin-starred Northcote Manor and top pastry chef, Claire Clark, of California’s legendary, three-Michelin-starred French Laundry. Alongside guest chef dinners, the Festival includes cookery demonstrations and wine tastings as well as something fun for all the family such as a Ritz-style afternoon tea or a barbecue on the terrace with a live steel band.
