All Day Dining
Light meals and refreshing drinks are served daily in our relaxed and stylish bar and lounge areas. You might fancy coffee and cakes with friends, a quick snack over a business meeting or a well-deserved, after-work glass of wine. And we're one of only a few Newcastle hotels to serve a proper afternoon tea.
Our All Day Dining Menu is simple yet tasty whether you're in the mood for steak and chips or something lighter such as homemade soup or a Caesar salad. We've coffees for the discerning coffee drinker, a full range of loose leaf teas, over 15 different wines by the glass and a great choice of classic cocktails.
Choose the Cocktail Bar for plump sofas, an inglenook fireplace and a buzz of conversation. Alternatively, the Billiard Room has a clubby atmosphere, another grand fireplace (but, regrettably or thankfully, no billiards) and is the perfect spot to laze over afternoon tea.
We're open to non-residents, too, with food served from 11am until 10pm (afternoon teas 3pm - 5.30pm). Although we will always do our best to fit you in, we would advise booking for afternoon tea to avoid disappointment.
